When you begin to see the world differently, it can start to take you by surprise. No matter what has happened in the past, you know you want to start living life in a new way. You want to connect with people from a more authentic place, where there is no longer the need to be accepted, and only the vibrancy from within is where you want to vibrate at. Knowing that true friends are the ones who uplift you, guiding you in creating the best version of yourself, in a healthy and positive way. A guiding light, that is leading you from the heart begins to take front seat. So when this “knowing” begins to happen, how do you integrate your transformative self into the live, and bustling world around you?

  1. Don’t Rush it

The last thing you want to do is have a breakdown because of the rush of information that comes through about yourself. Let yourself come to peace with what is, knowing that everything is perfect just like it is. Your experiences in the past are the very reason why you have been able to breakthrough to the other side of life. Those experiences are just as important, may have even been more important, giving you the special gift of identifying your ego, seeing it straight on, so you could transform. Take each day at a time, and relax into what is, and what will be.

  2. Create a Journal

Start to write. Write down all the line items of what you want to change in your life (people, places, things, ideologies, way of being, etc), and describe how you’re going to get there. Make a direct action plan for yourself, not worrying about any limitations that may arise, because those limitations are self inflicted. There is a way to get where you want to be, all you have to do is put diligent effort towards it, dropping any fear. Be creative. It is inside you, and the more you incorporate mindfulness tools in your life, the more you will be able to develop this super power. *Those tools are listed in number 6.

  3. Your Friends don’t have to Change

Understand that your personal growth is seen by others, giving them the inspiration to live life from a more conscious place for themselves. Your shinning light has a direct vibration that is felt and it can guide those around you. Become a teacher, become someone who doesn’t leave others due to their shortcomings, but integrates with them, giving them the opportunity to ride the wave with you. *Continuation of this in number 4.

  4. Move-out with ease, what is no longer serving you

No matter what you do, you WILL organically notice what is no longer serving you, and people, places, and things WILL change. This is the natural evolution of your transformative self. When you begin to vibrate at a higher frequency, you will feel energetically what you no longer want in your life. Do this with ease. For example, if you are a part of a friend circle, where the people around you are not vibrating to your growth, just take notice, and let the door stay open, asking friends to join you in doing different activities. You may just find a friend that will hop onto the wave with you, becoming your partner in healing. With the ones that aren’t interested, and it may even be all of them, let them disconnect, knowing that it’s time for your personal growth to take place. You can always revisit this again later, when you have taken the time needed for yourself.

  5. Talk with a Friend(s) or Guide(s)

Reach out to a friend(s) or guide(s) (yoga teacher, minister, counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, etc..) who you can trust, who you feel you can confide in. Talk with them about what is going on, giving them a heads-up on your new vision for yourself. Let them know your plan, not asking for permission, but voicing with confidence your new life plan. Give them the opportunity for feedback, and ask them if they will be your support system during this time of deep change. You will begin to

6. Incorporate mindfulness practices in your daily schedule

  1. Yoga

There are many styles of yoga (hatha, vinyasa, kundalini, ashtanga, iyengar, anusara, yin yoga, yoga nidra, restorative, deep stretch, etc..) to explore. Go out and begin to explore whatever calls to you, whatever is available in your community. Let it’s conscious movement and attention to your physical body & breath be what connects you deeper to your consciousness.

  2. Dance

See if anyone in your community is offering expressive dance gatherings. This type of dance will get you out of the head and into your body without limitations. It will take you away from doing everything with the thinking brain. Shake, tumble, run, scream, sing, wiggle, bounce. Dive in and move in ways in which you have always wanted to experience. Our daily movements come from a deep place of conditioning, so let that be free as well. It will work to move stuck patterns from within the body & mind.

  3. Meditation

In the 12-steps you learn how meditation can be a great tool towards mindfulness. Well, it is, the quiet time that you give yourself during meditation gives you the ability to slowdown the chattering mind, and gets you deeper within your body, releasing stress, anxiety, and negative thinking. There are many ways in which you can meditate, so don’t get frustrated if you don’t feel a connection to it right away. First and foremost, you can start meditating each day for 1 minute and grow from there, taking small steps into it is key

    Some types of meditation are:

    • walking meditation in nature

    • koan

    • mindfulness

    • chakra

    • vipassana

    • guided

    • mantra

    • transcendental

    • Quigong

    • yoga nidra

    • sound healing

    • breath awareness

    • focused attention

choose one and begin to explore from there.

  4. Healthy nutrition

It is really important to start looking at your diet, identifying where you can make some small shifts. From the quality of food that you eat, to when you drink water, to how much and what time of day you are eating. Learn how to reach your health goals in areas such as achieving optimal weight, reducing unhealthy food cravings, increasing sleep, eliminate sugar addiction, stress & anxiety management through the foods you eat, discover foods that are not serving you, and maximize your energy. Considering our Integrative Nutrition Program would be a great way to start, we have 1 month, 3 month, and 6 month programs.

  5. Massage

Bodywork is so important and should be integrated as a weekly, biweekly, or even monthly practice. It will help move stuck and stagnant energy from the physical body, thriving you with peace, quiet, alignment, and human touch. There are so many ways in which the body can be worked.

    • gentle massage

    • deep tissue

    • acupressure

    • acupunture

    • reflexology

    • cranial sacral

    • chiropractic

    • ceremonial

    • face

    • organ massage

    • intestinal massage

    • Jin shin do

    • lymphatic drainage

  6. Energy work

This is such an interesting one, because it’s one that isn’t commonly discussed or considered, but IT IS the foundation of what holistic health modalities are all about. They all work with your energy subtle body, like yoga, meditation, massage, dance, etc, but there is so much more to explore when working towards profound movement of your energy that directly effects your consciousness on a conscious and subconscious level . Those modalities would be reiki, sound healing, and KAP (kundalini activation process). Those modalities are offered here with some of our teams members, and some can be held on-line and others in-person.

7. Become a part of a healthy circle(s).

Healthy Circles: (wilderness groups, yoga centers, art/music groups, church groups, volunteer teams, sports teams, a supportive friend/guide etc..)

One of the best ways to find a new healthy circle, is to focus on people who are living a healthy lifestyle, and to connect with those groups. For example, people who are in outdoor wilderness groups, are physical and tend to live a healthy lifestyle. Keep in mind though, that they may also have their own unhealthy circle within it, but this is what you will have to navigate within any new circle that you explore. Even a circle of yoga students, could have their own unhealthy lifestyle within it, you will have to navigate, pick and choose who most resonates with you and your beliefs & lifestyle. Knowing that a great place to connect with new friends, is away from the life you have been living, so any new healthy group to check out and explore, is a good practice to incorporate.

8. Give back and be in-service for humanity

The deeper you go within your transformative self, the closer you get to being human and what it means to live the human experience. This experience is consciousness, and while you tap into higher states of consciousness within yourself, understanding that you are a part of the whole, you come to understand the need to be in-service for humanity, guiding people along the way towards a higher purpose in life. To do this, you can simply start by creating a small group, whether it be a book club, meditation group, walking group, intention setting circle, or work with people in the schools, medical system, or less fortunate communities around you. Volunteering your time to be present for others can be a great way in support your shifting consciousness.
